At New Mexico Wild Horses, our mission is to preserve the spirit of America’s wild horses through the power of photography. We are dedicated to documenting the untamed beauty, resilience, and family bonds of wild mustangs in their natural habitats, not just in New Mexico but across the American West. Through every image, we seek to inspire awareness, deepen compassion, and ignite action to protect these living symbols of freedom. Our work is rooted in respect for the horses, their history, and the wild lands they call home. We believe that by sharing their stories, we can help ensure their future.

It is a joy and a privilege to witness these horses in their element, where battles for leadership are written in scars and silence, and where every decision is guided by instinct and experience. To see a stallion rise through hardship or a lead mare guide her band with quiet authority and unwavering focus is to understand strength in its rawest form. These are moments that leave a mark, not just on memory cards but on the heart. Being out there with them, camera in hand, is where I feel most alive.
